Pupils

playroomFind out what our pupils have been doing.  We will add to this page from time to time.  The children have a wonderful playroom to explore and they always have the feeling of being outside because the playroom is so bright.

Every day in Newark is a busy day, but, on  Fridays, the children have 'rhyme time' instead of a story time and twice each term they all have a 'nursery rhyme time' booklet to take home.

We are timetabled for physical play in the large gym halls in the main School and the children soon become very familiar with a large school environment - regardless of what primary school he / she will go on to.

We endeavour to have regular visits to the primary schools the children will move on to and we have built up excellent relationships with our primary colleagues.

We have many visitors to the Nursery so that the children become aware of the people who help us in our community.

The views of the children are very important to us and we regularly ask them what they think!
